With years of training at the Fotovakschool and a deep love for photographing people, I don’t just capture the highlights — I look for those small, intimate moments that mean the most later on. In every introductory meeting I listen carefully to what matters to you: atmosphere, spontaneous portraits, or a long list of group photos. I use that information to create a bespoke reportage. Many couples describe my approach as warm and relaxed — to me that’s a great compliment, because relaxed couples make the most beautiful wedding photos. My style is focused on natural, spontaneous images. I blend in with your guests, avoid taking centre stage, and aim to capture as many moments as possible without being intrusive. During the reportage I sometimes offer small directions so you feel comfortable right away, while still creating distinctive wedding photographs. I enjoy using outdoor locations — the beach, forest, or iconic spots in Rotterdam — as backdrops for fresh, timeless images. How do we work together? We start with a no-obligation meeting so we get to know each other and your wishes are clear. On the wedding day I balance unobtrusive documentary coverage with creating moments for your posed reportage. After the wedding you’ll first receive a preview; the full selection is then carefully edited and delivered. I’m also happy to collaborate on a wedding album if you’d like a beautiful keepsake. In addition to full wedding reports I offer engagement shoots and loveshoots, often part of the wedding preparation.
