I’m Ado Avdic from Ado Fotografie, based in Gorinchem. As a wedding photographer my mission is to record your wedding day exactly as it unfolds: honest, emotional, and rich in details that will later tell the story of that day. My background in photography stretches back to the 1990s, and since turning my passion into a profession (professionally active since 2016), I’ve specialized in bridal photography and wedding reportage. Why choose Ado Fotografie? I work from a documentary/journalistic approach: I stay unobtrusive, look for spontaneous moments, and capture both small details and big emotions. This way I create wedding photos that never feel forced but remain authentic and timeless. My editing style is often slightly muted in color, with attention to contrast and occasional black-and-white conversions — exactly how I use post-processing to reinforce the right atmosphere. How do I work with couples? Our collaboration always starts with an introductory meeting. A good connection with your photographer is essential for a wedding, so we discuss your wishes, the schedule of the day, and any special moments you want captured. For couples who want it, I also offer a pre-wedding / engagement shoot — a relaxed way to get to know each other and to be comfortable in front of the camera before the big day. On the wedding day I move among the guests and photograph as many candid moments as possible; when a short posed series is desired, I guide you with clear directions and a calm approach. Practical and reliable: I shoot with professional Nikon equipment and bring sufficient backups so you won’t miss a moment. I deliver the photos digitally (high resolution) via a cloud service; during the wedding season the typical turnaround time is within a few weeks, and in busy periods up to eight weeks. I deliver quality and careful post-processing — every image is thoughtfully selected and edited so you receive the most beautiful memories.
