I am Marina Bonnemaijers — a wedding photographer based in Gorinchem who captures wedding days with heart and attention. My style is primarily documentary: I look for real moments, subtle glances and spontaneous interactions rather than stiff poses. As a part-time teacher I bring patience and a child-friendly approach; you’ll notice this while photographing children at your wedding or when a small audience unexpectedly creates touching moments. How do I work with couples? We like to meet beforehand so there’s a good connection and you can approach the day relaxed. On the wedding day I’m often present for the whole day: from preparations and first look to the ceremony, group photos and the party. I give subtle guidance where needed during portraits but mostly let the moment speak for itself. Besides full wedding reportages I also offer engagement shoots / love shoots — a great way to get to know each other and to feel comfortable in front of the camera before your big day. After the wedding you’ll receive an online gallery where you can view and select your photos at your leisure. I provide high-quality editing and am happy to help with prints or a custom wedding album so your memories remain tangible. And yes — I also enjoy the party; sometimes I sing along from the dance floor while capturing the evening’s energy.
