As a wedding photographer based in Hellevoetsluis, I focus on capturing your wedding day in a warm, honest and effortless way. Since graduating in 2017 I combine technical know-how with a love for storytelling — no forced poses, but an eye for real emotions, small details and the spontaneous moments that truly make your day. My approach is calm and personal. With my down-to-earth Twente sensibility I create a relaxed atmosphere during a shoot where you can be yourselves. That makes it easier to enjoy the day and results in beautiful, sincere wedding photos. I mainly work in a reportage style: I’m present without dominating, subtly looking for the small interactions between family, friends and the couple, and I step in occasionally for a loving portrait series when it feels right. We’ll coordinate location and timing together; I know the surroundings of Voorne aan Zee and Hellevoetsluis well and like to draw inspiration from the beach, the dunes and the green spots around Rotterdam. Whether it’s sun, clouds or an unexpected shower — I see every kind of weather as an opportunity to capture atmosphere and character, just as you’ll see reflected in my wedding reportages. I believe in a personal collaboration: we’ll start with an introductory meeting to discuss your wishes and the day’s rhythm. On the wedding day I work discreetly and purposefully so you can enjoy yourselves while I capture the moments. Besides documenting the ceremony and reception, I pay attention to the small, often touching details — from emotional glances to playful moments between friends and family. Although wedding photography is my specialty, I also enjoy capturing related moments such as loveshoots or engagement photos as preparation for the big day.
