I’m Rachel from Stardust Fotografie, based in Hoogvliet, and I specialize in wedding photography for couples who want to celebrate their love in a magical, non-traditional way. Since 2013 I have photographed weddings, combining years of experience with a love of fantasy — which makes me the wedding photographer for couples who aren’t shy of elven ears, Hufflepuff décor or a castle ceremony and prefer to celebrate it all. My style is soft-romantic with a touch of fairytale editing where appropriate — I like to add subtle pixie dust that suits your theme without ever feeling unnatural. How I work: I start with a calm introductory meeting to hear your story and wishes. Together we explore location ideas, timing and which style suits you best — from intimate elopements on a mountain to a handfasting in the woods. On the wedding day I remain discreet and professional: I give loving guidance when needed, but mainly stay ready to document authentic moments as they happen. If your theme calls for costumes or extra props, I offer a client closet with dresses and accessories that I can use to make your images even more enchanting. My approach is personal and involved: I enjoy helping with inspiration when you’re still searching, and I’m happy to dress to match the theme so I blend in and capture your day as naturally as possible. I travel from Hoogvliet across the Netherlands and abroad for elopements and special locations — the wilder and more imaginative, the happier I am.
