I’m Mieke Snepvangers — a wedding photographer based in Oegstgeest with years of experience capturing weddings in the Netherlands and abroad. My background in hospitality and my love for analog and portrait photography shape how I approach a wedding reportage: with care, attention and a genuine interest in who you are. What sets my style apart is the combination of documentary wedding photography and portrait sensitivity. My experience with families, maternity and portrait work allows me to gently direct when needed, and otherwise remain unobtrusive so the day can unfold naturally. The result is a collection of wedding photos where your story is central: intimate wedding portraits, spontaneous group moments and the small details that define the atmosphere of the day. How I work with couples: I start with a personal meeting to discuss your wishes and the day’s timeline. On the wedding day I create a calm, warm atmosphere — guiding when desired and observing when the moment calls for silence. My style is engaged but unobtrusive; I capture without interrupting the flow of the day. Afterwards I coordinate the final selection with you so the chosen images reflect exactly what you want to keep. I work from my studio in Oegstgeest and am available for weddings across the Netherlands and beyond. In addition to wedding photography I offer portrait, family and maternity photography, which often complements wedding reportage (for example engagement or fine art sessions).
