Ikzegja Wedding Reportages — specialist in bridal and wedding photography based in Rijswijk. I’m Maarten Thiebou and since 2003 I have been documenting wedding days with heart and dedication. My work is defined by a creative, spontaneous and natural style: I focus on capturing real moments rather than elaborate posing. With years of experience (more than 300 wedding reportages) and a background in fashion and product photography, I have a keen eye for composition, styling and light — qualities I use to preserve your day as beautifully as possible. My approach is personal and thorough: we start with an informal meeting to discuss your wishes and the atmosphere you want to create. That connection matters; I want you to feel completely yourselves in front of the camera. Shortly before the wedding we refine details and I offer practical advice so the reportage runs smoothly. On the wedding day I work unobtrusively in the background, attentive to atmosphere and key moments. I often begin with wide shots to set the scene and then move to details: the dress, rings and styling. Thanks to my experience in fashion photography I pay attention to makeup, how the dress is lit and the arrangement of accessories — small adjustments that make a big difference in the final images. My presence is discreet and relaxed; many couples and guests describe my style as calm and professional. After the reportage I edit the images carefully: colour, contrast, cropping and, when appropriate, a subtle conversion to black-and-white. The result is a coherent series of photographs that bring back the emotion and atmosphere of your day.
