As a wedding photographer based in 's-Gravenzande, I’m Iris van der Zwan, and I specialise in bridal and wedding photography that feels honest, warm and unforced. For me, a wedding reportage is all about the small moments: the tear during the vows, the spontaneous laughter of your friends, a hand held with quiet affection. Those moments together tell the story of your day, and I capture that story with attention to emotion and detail. My approach is personal and calm. We start with a meeting so I can learn who you are and what matters to you — a good connection is essential. On the day I’ll walk alongside you, present when that suits and invisible when the moment needs to be yours. There are no stiff poses, only natural interaction; my style leans toward documentary wedding photography with a love for soft, emotive images. I work from 's-Gravenzande and the Westland, and I’m happy to travel to your venue. Before the wedding you’ll receive clear information and the option to view my brochure, so you know exactly what to expect. After the celebration I carefully select and edit the images with the same care and love with which I made them — colour, light and rhythm are important to me to recreate the atmosphere of your day. In addition to full wedding reportages I offer relaxed engagement or love shoots — a lovely way to get to know each other better before the big day and to get comfortable in front of the camera.
