As a wedding photographer based in Scheveningen, I capture your day in a soft, light and timeless style. That’s why I always start with an introductory meeting: a relaxed moment where we get to know one another, discuss your plans and I learn what truly matters to you. A connection between us is essential — only then do the most honest and natural images appear. My approach on the wedding day is calm and attentive. I look for the small, intimate moments: a laugh behind the dress, a tear during the vows, the release of tension during a spontaneous dance. Couples often describe me as “one of the guests” — that is exactly my aim: to be present without interrupting the flow of your day, so I can capture emotions and details as they really happen. Location plays a major role in my imagery. As someone from Scheveningen I feel at home in the dunes and on the beach; the soft light and natural backgrounds lend a romantic atmosphere to the photos. I also enjoy working at ceremonies and receptions across The Hague and the surrounding area — everywhere I search for that simple, pure light that defines my photographic style. During shoots I offer subtle guidance so you feel comfortable while maintaining natural poses. I’m happy to advise on timing and planning throughout the day — for example, when quiet portrait moments fit best without disrupting your schedule.
