I am Mehmet Oz, founder of Mediamem and a wedding photographer based in Schiedam. Since 2006 I have been capturing wedding stories with dedication — more than 300 weddings have taught me when to be quietly present and when to gently direct. My photography is pure, warm and full of emotion; I seek the spontaneous moments that make your day truly unique. As a specialist wedding photographer I work from a documentary approach: I blend in among your guests to capture genuine glances, candid smiles and unexpected details. At the same time I provide clear, calm guidance during posed moments so couples stay relaxed and the images look natural. This balance of unobtrusive observation and friendly direction results in wedding photos that feel like reliving the day. Personal contact is important to me. An introductory meeting is always complimentary and helps us get to know each other and align expectations. During that conversation we discuss the timeline, favourite locations and special requests — I also often bring a sample album so you can see my style. On the wedding day itself I work purposefully and respectfully; I make sure the moments that matter are well covered and I offer the option of a second shooter for additional perspectives and full coverage. After the shoot I carefully select and edit each image: every photo receives attention for color, contrast and cropping so the final collection tells a coherent story. For couples who also want motion pictures I collaborate closely with Ozmen Video; together we combine wedding photography and film into lasting memories. Although wedding photography is my speciality, Mediamem also offers additional services such as one-on-one mentoring sessions and product photography. These services are designed to help (aspiring) photographers and business owners or to meet professional commercial imaging needs — my core focus remains the wedding reportage.
