I’m Nicolette from Sliedrecht, and from the very first wedding I photographed I knew: this is what I want to do more often. As a specialist in wedding photography, I translate your love, emotions and small moments into wedding photos that are not only beautiful, but that truly feel like you. I pay close attention to light, composition and emotion so the photos will still evoke the atmosphere of that moment years from now. During the ceremony and reception I stay mainly in the background: visible enough to miss nothing, unobtrusive enough so you can keep enjoying your day. For the portrait moments I create calm and a friendly atmosphere; I give short, clear directions so you feel relaxed in front of the camera. How I work: we usually start with a no-obligation introduction — in person or online — so I can hear your story and you know what to expect. On the day itself I ensure a pleasant, relaxed atmosphere; afterwards I carefully select and edit the images so you receive a cohesive wedding reportage that matches my photographic style. Although wedding photography is my specialty, I also create engagement shoots (loveshoots) and portrait photography in a similar pure style.
