I’m Olena, a wedding photographer from Spijkenisse with a passion for storytelling wedding photography. My background as a photojournalist has trained me to observe sharply: I look, listen and wait for those small, unguarded moments that truly make a day special. As your wedding photographer I focus on capturing genuine emotions and spontaneous interactions — not stiffly posed shots, but images that bring you back to the feeling of that day. My style is warm, pure and natural. I prefer to work unobtrusively and respectfully so you can enjoy the day without constantly thinking about the camera. That relaxed approach often produces the most beautiful wedding photos: a gentle squeeze of the hand during dinner, a quiet moment amid the bustle, or an exuberant laugh during a speech. Those details together tell the story of your wedding, and that is where my focus lies. How do I work? We’ll get in touch beforehand so I can learn about your wishes and the schedule of the day. An engagement shoot before the big day is a lovely way to get comfortable with each other — it helps you relax and avoids nerves during the reportage. On the day itself I stay alert to both the major moments and the subtle ones in between. Technically, I can adapt quickly to changing light conditions so that I can guarantee beautiful images in every situation. As a local wedding photographer in Spijkenisse I regularly work throughout the Rotterdam area and surroundings. I speak Dutch, English, Russian and Ukrainian, which is especially useful for multilingual families or international guests. My working method is personal: I listen to your story and aim to translate it, with respect and craftsmanship, into timeless wedding photos.
