I’m Jake — a Brazilian wedding photographer based in The Hague, specialising in wedding photography and reportage. Since 2019 I turned my passion into my profession, with one constant mission: to create a relaxed atmosphere so you can be genuine in front of the camera. That calmness translates into wedding photos that feel natural, emotional and timeless. My approach is documentary-led: I look for real moments — an unexpected smile, a tear, a fleeting touch — and balance those with beautiful, styled images when it fits the day. My social, easy-going nature helps couples settle in quickly, creating space to truly enjoy the day rather than pose. The result is a wedding reportage that reflects the mood, story and connections of your celebration. How I work: we start with a personal meet-up (online or in person) so I can learn your wishes and the day’s schedule. On the wedding day I shoot discreetly and progressively — I gently guide when needed without disrupting the flow of your festivities. After the wedding you’ll receive a selection of previews quickly, so memories can be shared right away. I’m based in The Hague but I love to travel: destination weddings are very welcome. Whether you marry locally or further away, I keep the same focus on authenticity and emotion. Although wedding photography is my main expertise, I also offer other family-led sessions such as maternity and newborn shoots — always with the same care and warm approach.
