As a wedding photographer I (Mariët Mons) have been documenting weddings since 2007 with one clear aim: to portray your story honestly and lovingly. My style is connecting, vibrant, colorful and real; I work predominantly with natural light and look for those spontaneous moments when everything feels right. Whether it’s an intimate gathering on the beach or a large city celebration, I capture the small nuances and the big emotions that make your wedding day unique. After your initial message we’ll arrange a meeting (by phone or in person) to see if we’re a good fit. I’m happy to advise on locations, timing and atmosphere — offering guidance on light and schedule so the wedding reportage feels organic. On the day itself I create a relaxed atmosphere; many of my best results come from a calm, playful approach that allows genuine emotion to emerge. Engagement shoots are a lovely preparation: they let you get comfortable in front of the camera and provide intimate, valuable images. After the wedding I carefully select and edit the best images with attention to color and mood.
