I am Tamara Heck, a wedding photographer based in Vlaardingen. With more than 15 years of experience and formal photographic training in Breda, I have specialized in bridal photography and wedding reportage. What drives me is capturing authenticity: the small hidden glances, spontaneous bursts of laughter and the moments when emotions truly feel shared without pretense. My work focuses on creating wedding photographs that preserve your story and atmosphere — not just events, but the emotion and personality of your day. My style is calm and documentary; I work discreetly so you can continue enjoying your wedding day while I capture the important moments. At the same time I love creating more composed images: collaborating with light, composition and styling to produce intimate portraits and atmospheric details. Whether we meet in my studio in Vlaardingen for a preparatory engagement shoot or I follow your wedding day on location, my focus remains the same: translating authenticity and beauty into images. How do I work? Before I pick up the camera I like to take a moment to get to know you. A personal conversation helps me understand which moments matter most to you and what mood you want to see reflected in the photos. On the wedding day I bring a calm, professional eye: I combine documentary reportage with directed portrait moments so you receive a varied and coherent wedding album. For many couples an engagement shoot is a comfortable way to become familiar with my approach and the camera — often this results in the most relaxed portraits.
