Shared Moments Photography (Varsha Kandhai) is a specialist in wedding photography based in Zoetermeer, with a clear focus: capturing your wedding day as honestly and warmly as possible. As a wedding photographer I work with a documentary eye — not posed, but alert to those small, authentic moments: proud glances, unexpected tears and unfiltered laughter. My style is warm and colorful; I aim for every viewing of the photos to take you right back to that day. Why choose Shared Moments? Because I make wedding stories engaging and personal. I search for atmosphere and emotion, and I deliberately choose to work mostly from the background. My motto: "stay out of the way & capture the day." That means you can enjoy the day without constant posing, and precisely because of that the most beautiful memories reveal themselves. At the same time I am hands-on when needed: brief guidance during a portrait session, a helping hand with the train of the dress, or suggestions for the golden hour — always attentive to your wishes. How I work with couples: we start with a meeting so there’s a connection — that matters to me. We discuss locations, timing and your preferences in advance so I can prepare for the flow of the day. On the wedding day I try to be unobtrusive; afterwards you will receive a selection in an online gallery and often a short preview to enjoy quickly. Optionally I collaborate with Tim on moving images: wedding videos that, as a complement to the photography, bring your day back in color and sound. My passion for photography comes from loving real stories and preserving memories for later. As a mother, tea lover and people-person I enjoy connection — you’ll see this in how I relate to families and couples. Shared Moments mainly works in Zoetermeer, South Holland and the central Netherlands, but I’m happy to travel a bit further for special days.
