I’m Marisa — a wedding photographer from Amersfoort with a love for pure images. What moves me are the small, unposed moments: a fleeting glance, a genuine laugh, or that awkward bit of cake on someone’s shirt. My aim as a bridal photographer is to record your wedding day exactly as it was: intimate, relaxed and full of character. My style is calm and documentary-led. I prefer to work with daylight because it keeps the atmosphere and skin tones natural. In my photos I don’t look for staged poses but for the ways you find each other — the gestures and interactions your friends and family will recognize. That approach creates wedding photography that isn’t just beautiful to look at, but that feels honest and tangible when you return to it years later. A good connection is essential to me. That’s why every journey begins with a meet-up: a short chat or a walk with a cup of coffee. Not to tick boxes, but to get a sense of whether we’re on the same page. When that connection is there, an easy, relaxed atmosphere naturally follows on the wedding day — the perfect basis for spontaneous images. During your celebration I move quietly among you and your guests, offering gentle guidance when needed, but mostly letting the moments unfold. Besides weddings I photograph engagement sessions and getting-ready moments; these sessions are ideal for getting comfortable in front of the camera and for creating a natural set of images that belong to your story. As a wedding photographer in Amersfoort I’m used to working at a variety of locations — from urban ceremonies to rural estates — and I’m happy to advise on mood, light and practical flow.
