As a wedding photographer based in Nieuwegein, I combine experience, calm presence and attention to the real story of your day. After more than ten years working under the name Clickflits Photography, I continue since 2023 as Robbert Thoen Photography. My specialty is wedding reportage: capturing the small details, spontaneous emotions and those moments you will cherish most later on. My approach is personal and relaxed. I believe beautiful wedding photography arises when people feel at ease. For that reason I like to start with an introductory meeting so we can get to know each other and discuss your wishes and the day’s schedule. On the wedding day itself I work discreetly and reliably: I look for genuine interactions and spontaneous moments, while also creating calm, timeless portraits of the two of you together. What drives me is capturing authenticity. Whether it’s the nerves just before the ceremony, an unexpected laugh during the party or a quiet moment during the couple shoot — those real emotions form the heart of my work. I favor a story-driven wedding reportage that, later on, brings back the feeling of the day without explanation. Because every wedding is unique, I adapt my workflow to your schedule and location in and around Nieuwegein. I actively advise on timing and lighting so we can capture the most important moments calmly and carefully. For couples who prefer it, I also offer a relaxed loveshoot or engagement shoot: a friendly way to get comfortable with each other and with me in front of the camera.
