I’m Janneke, a wedding photographer based in Utrecht with a passion for playful, colorful and spontaneous bridal photography. As a specialist in wedding reportage, I don’t just aim for perfect framed shots but focus above all on the real moments in between: a warm embrace, uncontrollable laughter with friends, or an unexpected tear of joy. With more than ten years’ experience and over 200 weddings photographed, I know how to keep your day feeling relaxed and natural. My approach is personal and calm. Before the big day I like to meet you for an online coffee date to learn your love story and plans. On the day itself I blend in with your guests and work with a relaxed, cheerful energy so you can simply enjoy the celebration. I’ll gently guide when needed, but I prefer to let moments unfold naturally so I can capture the unique story of your wedding day. My style is characterised by rich, full colours and attention to detail — from the smallest decoration to intimate glances. I give equal care to the major events and the little in-between moments that often become the most treasured memories. As a wedding photographer I love working with natural light and seek out soft, tender portrait locations (golden hour moments are among my favourites to capture). Although wedding photography is my speciality, I also offer loveshoots and destination weddings — I regularly travel between the Netherlands and Portugal and happily photograph ceremonies and celebrations at special locations across Europe. Every assignment receives bespoke attention; I’ll advise you on locations, timing and mood so the images truly reflect who you are.
