As a wedding photographer based in Terneuzen, I combine technical experience with a personal, relaxed approach. My name is Fieke de Rooij and I document your wedding day in a way that tells your story — without forced poses, with attention to genuine moments and the emotion of your day. What sets me apart is my involvement and simplicity. I favour a natural style where you as a couple are central. With a background as an equestrian and many years of experience in photography, I have a good sense of when decisive moments will happen; I use that same timing to capture spontaneous looks, small details and the interplay between people (and sometimes animals). That makes my wedding reportages personal and recognizable. My working method always starts with good contact: an introductory meeting in which I like to discuss your wishes, locations and favourite moments. On the day itself I work calmly and purposefully; I create a relaxed atmosphere so you can enjoy yourselves and I can photograph unobtrusively. After the wedding you will receive a set of quick previews shortly to share with friends and family. The full images are delivered digitally and presented in an organized way. When the weather allows, I like to add extra atmosphere with drone footage, and there is also the option to book a short wedding film as an addition. I am proud of the warm relationships I build with the couples I photograph: many couples appreciate my calm approach and the personal contact. As a local from Terneuzen in Zeeland, I work a lot in the region, but I’m happy to travel to locations that are meaningful to you.
